Xray Portfolio

Xray is a browser-based portfolio look-through tool. It pulls live data from Yahoo Finance to show your true exposure across ETFs and individual stocks.

Your data is stored entirely in your browser — no accounts, no servers, nothing leaves your device.

How to use it

Add your holdings

Click + Add Holding in the sidebar, search by name or ticker, enter your units, and click Add. Cash positions can be added via the "or add cash" section in any currency.

Explore your exposure

Charts update automatically. Asset Class shows your split across ETFs, stocks, and cash. True Sector Exposure looks through your ETFs to show your real underlying sector weights — normalised to always sum to 100%.

Drill into the detail

Click any holding name in the sidebar to see its full data. Click any row in Top Underlying Holdings to see your total exposure to that company — direct and indirect through ETFs combined.

Key concepts

True Sector Exposure

Sector weights are sourced directly from Yahoo Finance for each ETF. Individual stocks contribute their own sector at 100%. Values are normalised across your classifiable holdings so the chart always sums to 100%.

Top Underlying Holdings

Each ETF's top holdings are weighted by your allocation to that ETF, then aggregated to show company-level exposure across your whole portfolio — ranked by total exposure (direct + indirect).

Exclude from charts ●

Use the dot toggle on any holding in the sidebar to exclude it from chart calculations without removing it. Useful for isolating positions or modelling what-if scenarios.

All data is sourced live from Yahoo Finance and may lag or be incomplete for some instruments. ETF top holdings represent the fund's largest positions only — not full portfolio composition. Treat all exposure figures as estimates.
